J. Robert "Rob" Tyler III

Mr. Rob Tyler dedicates his practice to helping entrepreneurs grow emerging technology companies in a variety of industries, including information technology, life sciences, medical devices, healthcare, nanotechnology, and advanced materials. He represents his clients in a wide range of transactions including equity and debt financings, intellectual property and technology licensing, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Moreover, he has an extensive network of contacts with potential investors and other resources of significant value to his clients. Mr. Tyler has more than 25 years of experience in business and corporate law. He is a Co-Founder and Director of The Medical Innovations Collaborative, Inc. (MEDIC) and a member of the University of Richmond Law School Dean’s Advisory Board. He served on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and also served on the Board of Directors for NC IDEA. Mr. Tyler is a graduate of the University of Richmond, where he earned his J.D. and B.S. degrees and served as the President of the University of Richmond Law School Alumni Association.
