Mr. Ed Turlington is an attorney in the Raleigh office of Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard. His practice focuses on media, information technology and government. He was graduated cum laude from Duke University and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where he served as President of the Student Body.
Mr. Turlington has a record of public service. He has served as Chief of Staff to both the Governor (Jim Hunt) and Lt. Governor (Bob Jordan) of North Carolina, as Special Assistant/Counsel to a United States Senator (Terry Sanford), and as a national advisor to three presidential candidates. In his roles as an attorney and public policy leader, he has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, Fox, CSPAN, NPR, and the BBC. He has also been quoted in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
