Mr. Dan Drake is the President of the William R. Kenan, Jr. Funds and also serves as the Chairman of the William R. Kenan, Jr. Fund for Engineering, Technology and Science and a member of the board of directors of the William R. Kenan, Jr. Funds. From 1967-1998, Mr. Drake served as Managing Director of J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc. and continued to consult with J.P. Morgan until 1999. Mr. Drake also served as Managing Member and Chief Operating Officer of Middlebury Capital Partners International, LLC from 1999-2001. From 2003- 2009, Mr. Drake was the Associate Publisher of the Nantucket Independent, LLC. Mr. Drake is currently involved on the boards of a number of not-for-profit organizations including the Rowland Foundation, the Linda Loring Nature Foundation where he serves as Chairman, the Nantucket Shellfish Association where he serves as Treasurer and Secretary, and the Community Foundation for Nantucket. Mr. Drake received his AB in history from the University of Rochester in 1964 and his JD from the Albany Law School of Union University in 1967. Mr. Drake was admitted to the New York Bar in 1967. He and his wife Judith reside in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
