Bridging the arts, sciences, and humanities, RISING will culminate in a traveling exhibition in an effort to help all North Carolinians better understand the jeopardies of living, working, and doing business along our coast and how to prepare and adapt for a more resilient tomorrow. RISING premiered its first exhibition on Feb. 16, 2018, at the Center for the Study of the American South at UNC-Chapel Hill. The exhibition will be on view at the Center through May 2018 (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).
This exhibition has been made possible by the Community Collaborative Research Grant, a program of NC Sea Grant and the William R. Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science, and with support from UNC’s Center for the Study of the American South, the Coastal Resilience Center, Food for All, the Department of American Studies and Southern Cultures.
