Apex Friendship High School Teacher Dan Jackson leads the Applied Synergies Partnership (ASaP) in North Carolina. ASaP is a partnership between education and industry aimed at empowering student leadership through experiential entrepreneurial pedagogy. Zachary Abramczyk is a 2019 graduate and four-year student of Mr. Jackson at Apex Friendship High School. Zach has received awards at the state and international level for business operations research and business plans he developed while in Mr. Jackson’s classroom.

In addition to his success in the DECA competitions, Zach is a two-year vice president within the DECA student organization, an alum of the Town of Apex Youth Leadership organization, and a business development intern at a local software company called Coworks. ASaP has been collaborating with the NC State Poole College of Management Technology, Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (TEC) Program as well as with the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science since 2016.
