Kenan Institute Helping to Support Nonwovens Institute’s Efforts to Create Masks for Health Care Workers

The Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science is among a group of NC State units—including the Office of Research and Innovation, the Office of Finance and Administration, the Office of the Provost, and the Wilson College of Textiles—that has provided support for the Nonwovens Institute (NWI) as it is beginning to produce face mask materials that will be used to protect medical workers on the front lines of fighting the effects of COVID-19.
