This summer, A+ Schools – North Carolina Fellows partnered with Kenan Fellows Jennifer Walmsley and Jen Stalls for the 2018 Kinetic Connections Summer Institute to teach 3rd-5th-grade teachers in Wilson and surrounding counties how best to integrate arts and STEM education. The PD was inspired by the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. A+Schools of NC is an initiative of the North Carolina Arts Council.
