Directions to the Kenan Institute

From I-40:

• Exit 297 – Lake Wheeler Road
• Traveling East – turn Left; Traveling West – turn Right
• At 1st stop light turn Left onto Centennial Parkway
• At 3rd stop light turn Left onto Oval Drive

From Inside the Raleigh I-440 Beltline:

• Take Western Boulevard to Avent Ferry Road
• Turn onto Avent Ferry Road
• At 1st stop light turn Left onto Centennial Parkway
• At 1st stop light turn Right onto Oval Drive

From Oval Drive

**Please note that there is currently construction in and around the Hunt Library and some roads are currently closed. Follow detour signs as needed.

• At 1st stop sign turn Right onto Main Campus Drive
• Make an Immediate Left onto Partners Way
• Travel past the Hunt Library and turn Right into the Poulton Paylot across the street from the Library’s first floor entrance
• Enter through the main doors
• In the white lobby, walk past the yellow staircase to the two elevators left of the robotic book retrieval display
• Proceed to the fifth floor, enter the suite through the glass doors

Centennial Campus Parking

Hourly parking is available in the Poulton Paylot across the street from the first floor entrance to the Hunt Library. Parking fees are $2/hour. Parking spots are numbered, and there is a pay station that accepts debit and credit cards only (no cash). To pay by web, click here.

Parking is free and open to the public after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and throughout the weekend.

Transportation staff at the visitor booths provide parking information to campus visitors. Please note that the Centennial Campus info booth is only staffed until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
