STEM in the Park recently sat down with the co-founders of The Medical Innovators Collaborative (The MEDIC) to learn how the team has progressed since winning the Catalysts for Innovation Award. The most exciting bit of news is that they have assembled a team of 16 interns (6 paid and 10 unpaid) from Duke, NC State, and UNC and are working on several major projects. One of the most exciting is a collaboration with United Therapeutics.
