NC Space Grant will present the inaugural 2019 SPACE Symposium on Thursday, April 4 through Friday, April 5 at the StateView Hotel on NC State’s Centennial Campus in Raleigh.
The student-focused symposium will feature the work of NC Space Grant award recipients, as well as other K-12, community college and higher education students from around the state whose studies are in relevant STEM fields. Activities will include plenary talks featuring participants from the space community (NASA, commercial space, aviation, etc.) and student oral and poster presentations.
NC Space Grant is currently accepting student abstracts to be presented during the NC Space Symposium on Friday, April 5 at designated times. There will also be Pre-Symposium Poster Presentation Workshops that can help students to learn more about effective presentation skills. Applications for poster abstracts should be submitted online by Feb. 15, 2019. Please note: Graduate Research Fellows, Undergraduate Research Scholars and Interns were informed about the expectation to submit a poster at the symposium.
Registration for the symposium will open soon.
